Prayer for Loneliness

 Dear Jesus, 

I pray today, in your name, to fill this void of loneliness I feel with your peace and comfort. I submit myself to you and ask for your guidance to live a life for you so I can withstand the attacks of the enemy. The enemy likes to tell me I am alone, but I know your word says the holy spirit lives within me. 

Though I may feel lonely based on the world’s definition, I am spiritually surrounded by a blanket of your love. You are my comfort, my peace, and a friend who is always there. Friends may come and go on Earth, but you are forever. In Isaiah, you tell me to fear not for you are with me and will strengthen me. 

I need your strength in these moments. You go on in Peter to say for me to cast my anxieties and cares onto you, for you care for me. I cast my anxieties and cares onto you today, asking you to fill these voids within my heart and soul, so that I know I am never alone. Help me to seek your will and your will alone. 

Let me not be consumed by the world’s standards. I rebuke these feelings of loneliness in your name and know nothing the enemy tries to use to harm me will prosper and you will use it for my good. 

I am loved. 

I am chosen. 

I am fearfully and wonderfully made,

 and because you sit on the throne today and always;

I am fulfilled.
