Daily Prayer for Comfort
Dear Lord,
My heart is heavy, and I know true peace can only be found in You. Because of this, I lean on you during these moments for strength. Life’s worries and struggles can sometimes seem never-ending, but your grace, mercy, and goodness conquer all.
The enemy wants to distract me and have my mind only focus on the negative in life. Instead, I choose to see your goodness in every circumstance. Please bring comfort to my heart and mind. Bless me with the wisdom and tools to overcome the attacks of the enemy.
Your word says in 2 Corinthians 1:4: “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us“. Lord, comfort me in my troubles, and may I use this wisdom to provide comfort to others.
I know you work all things together for my good. And, I take comfort in this knowing that everything the enemy tries to use for evil you will turn it around for my good. Comfort my mind, heart, and spirit so that I may move forward in keeping a Christ-Centered focus. I pray that my focus never leaves you. And, that no matter how big my problems may seem, I always remember that my God is bigger.
